PRIVATE HOUSE INVESTIGATION FISHPONDS BRISTOL 28th May 2010

This is our first private residence investigation so excitement was the mood for the evening.We met at my flat for a pre investigation briefing and then made our way to Fishponds.We met the home owner for confidentiality reasons I will be calling her Sarah.We all sat in the front room and chatted as to get a feel of the atmosphere in the residence.Sarah was able to tell us what she had been experiencing over the past months.Myself and John Fahy proceeded to take baseline readings they were as follows:-

EMF reading at 0 mg but was fluctuating at points to 1 mg

We then joined group in living room to start our investigating.
Sarah gave us a close personal effect close to her which Tim our medium held.He picked up on a male connection with the object and proceeded to give her further information which she confirmed to be true after Tim linked with spirit.Tim also picked up on a traumatic death occurance which again Sarah confirmed.
Once Tim had warmed up he had a spirit called James or Jimmy come through Sarah confirmed to Tim as a known relative in spirit.
Tim also picked up on a female spirit called possibly called Paula he described her as slightly built with long mousey brown hair.Sarah was not sure who this was.
We then moved around the house starting upstairs with the bedrooms. Photos were taken at random and showed orbs present in some of the rooms Tim experienced a blowing sensation on his arm and a presence in Bedroom 2.
Tim stated that spirit was present while we were in the bedroom.Bedroom 1 had a strange feel to it too I felt there was someone stood behind me as I turned to leave the room.The presence was felt on the landing inbetween the two bedrooms at times this was very strong.On the pre-investigation visit this was felt by myself and Emma which made us feel this investigation was viable.
We then all went downstairs to for a short break and to discuss findings.
We then tried to contact the spirit by Crystal Divination .
Sarah asked several personaL questions and recieved answers in a YES,NO DWA (dont want to answer)format.
THE QUESTIONS ARE PERSONAL TO SARAH AND WE WILL RESPECT HER PRIVACY BY NOT PUBLISHING THEM.
We held a vigil in the front room later in the evening and called out to the spirit present.During this vigil as we called out we heard a tapping sound coming frrom the corner of the room.it also seemed as someone entered the room and sat in the single chair in the same corner of the room.We also experienced some temperature fluctuations in the front room during the vigil.
We concluded our investigation and Sarah explained the history about her experiences we felt the entity had attached itself to Sarah and followed her around due to being an Ex partner who had passed away.
THE SKIIRRID INN INVESTIGATION FRIDAY 12/11/2010

The night started at my flat in Kingswood this was to be our meeting point.Tim was the first to arrive pre investigation briefing as he was unable to make our previous meeting.Very shortly after discussing the evening he began to recieve names and dates linked with the pub,Tim had not read or heard anything about the pub previously.Everyone else arrived shortly after we then had a quick briefing on the nights format and we set off in convoy to The Skirrid Inn.
We arrived at the Skirrid Inn at about 10:40pm to a warm welcome from Wayne Rowlands an ex colleague of mine and Bar manager at The Skirrid Inn.We introduced ourselves discussed health and safety issues.The group settled in to the Bar area which was to be our base for the evening some took pictures pre investigation and straight away tim was getting feelings from the devils brew tankard on the shelf and was also being told to take the group to the church for protection before we started investigating.

On arrival at the church we all sat in the pews and got settled by torchlight.We then sat in complete darkness and became accustomed to the atmosphere in the church.Tim proceeded with some protection prayers for the group.we all sat silent for a short period and myself and Emma did some calling out asking any spirit entities to come and join us.Tim was getting through a reverend who previously served at the church.several of the guests felt icy breezes on thier hands and legs.There was also noises heard by Emma at the back of the church and Tim could see a dark presence by the entrance door to the church.I also saw movement at the front of the church by the alter.I then asked for a volunteer to come to the alter with me to see what was there.Half the group decided to come and join me.We sat quietly at the front of the church.Kirsty took an interesting photo of an Orb very close to her where she sat.Matt went and stood in the pulpit and said it felt very cold while there.I also stood in the pulpit and felt the same cold that Matt had experienced.we checked for open windows and draught points but could find nothing.We stayed for approximately for about half an hour during this we had already had noted results of residual energy.We then made our way into the graveyard and took some photos.

After spending some time at the Chirch it was time to start investigating the most haunted inn in Wales The Skirrid Inn.We first had a refreshment break as it was a bit chilly up at the Church.

THE INVESTIGATION
ROOM 1 THE COURTHOUSE
We started our night off by going into room number one which was originally used as a courthouse for trying criminals this has now been converted into 2 rooms with a partition wall.
We all made ourselves comfortable and proceeded with our first vigil of the evening. We were in complete darkness and accustomed ourselves with the atmosphere in the room. It didnt take long for Judge jefferies "The Hanging judge" to make himself known to us through our medium Tim who suddenly, totally out of character ,shouted "Bastards".The Judge was re-knowned for his brash manner and his hatred for people and especially women. Half our team consisted of women this may have provoked the judge into making an early appearance. At this point the room had an unusual blackness to it and Tim continued to shout many obsceneties. Hazel became aware of sickness felling and pains in her neck and felt she had to leave the room .The atmosphere suddenly appeared to lift a and all was calm again. Tim confirmed that the Judge had left him at this point.I then asked for volunteers to go into the bathroom, this was part of the condemned mans cell (rear), where prisoners were housed the night before they hung. Matt,Pete, Kirsty , Dave and Tim went in and I shut the door.within seconds Tim left the room and stated he could not stay in there. We carried on our vigil asking the spirits to make themselve known to the group in the cell. Matt our cameraman reported he felt that he had been touched and described it as a feeling of cobwebs on his face and head. This concluded our first vigil and we moved to the next room.
THE CONDEMNED MAN'S CELL
A group of volunteers went into this room Tim our medium could not bring himself to stay there due to being sensitive to the feelings linked to the room.Matt Orren our camera man told us he had been touched on the head by something in there but could not explain what.
ROOM 2 THE COURTHOUSE
On investigating this room the Judge again was very forthcoming and really did not want us there.The Atmosphere was very foreboding while in here as this is where sentence would have been passed .The prisoners would have been ridiculed here by the judge who got alot of satisfaction from putting prisoners to death by hanging.We put Emily and Mitch in the far annex which led to another bathroom.Emily said she was being touched on her neck and felt strange while in there.The atmosphere was very changable in the bedroom.
ROOM 3 FANNY PRICE'S ROOM
We moved into the third and final room which is said to be the room of a woman called Fanny price who died of consumption during the 18th century in her early thirties.On investigating this room we began to smell flowers as annie made her presence known to us.Annie was a friendly soul and was wondering what we were all doing in her room.We held a vigil here and Fanny was very forthcoming with this.
STAIRWELL HANGING ROOM
We held a vigil by the hanging area as it has been reported as being very active here,we assembled and got comfortable and began.A few of the group heard shuffling coming from the far end of the hallway.This was confirmed by many members of the group.We started calling out for any spirits present to give us a sign that they were with us on doing this we heard several loud bangs coming from the rooms upstairs.No other members of the group were upstairs so this could not be explained.We continued calling out and the noises kept happening this again could not be explained.Another experiment we tried was putting Dave Hayward in the small cupboard in the hallway which was a well allegedly where the hanged prisoners entrails were thrown after hanging.Dave could not stand being in there and had to come out.
